I bought this bike from Rob Carpenter late 2000 after he was injured at PIR. He gave me a huge amount of spares to get me started and a bike that was pretty well tuned by all accounts. Thus I began my novice racing season in 2001 and the bike served me very well, enabling me to finish high in a number of novice "races".

www.motovate.me.uk video of the very tidy original Yamaha Ty250 mono 1986 model manufactured in early 1987, supplied with dating corespondence from Yamaha UK and an age related manual.
This matching frame and engine number bike is clean, standard and original apart from Wes silencer, Renthal bars and some replacement levers, I have reason to believe it has Never been painted since factory and it is still the original stickers that grace the bike.
Ready to trial or restore to perfection.
