How do I turn off this old steam radiator in my room?
The thermostat is in my room, set to 70 degrees. But it feels like 90 degrees in here, while the rest of the house is cool I want the rest of the house to get warm.
There is a knob on the bottom left and a dial on the right making a steam
I am pretty sure the knob you mention on the lower left side is the control knob. It may feel tight when trying to turn this to the right to turn off the flow of hot water through the heater there by sending the steam to other radiators.
