is there any sport's car fairly comfortable with a big trunk and good mpg?

I am trying to find a sports car with a big trunk so that I can also use it for road trips. I've seen pictures of Mitsubishi Eclipse and I liked it; does anyone know any similar type of sport cars with good mpg and a fairly spacious trunk? Thanks!

Looking at GM products, two that fit some of your specifications include the Chevrolet Camaro and the Cadillac CTS Coupe. Both seat 4, and have fuel economies of 17city/28highway and 18 city/27highway respectively.

Fatal racing wreck case goes to jury

A prosecutor told jurors Monday that Tyler Stasko committed murder with a Mitsubishi Eclipse in April 2009 when he slammed into a Mercedes while racing on N.C. 49.

"Folks, what this is, is murder," Mecklenburg Assistant District Attorney Clayton Jones told the jury. "The weapon was a Mitsubishi Eclipse. The person with his finger on the trigger was Tyler Stasko."

But Stasko's attorney, Deke Falls, said his client had no intent to kill, and he urged jurors not to convict him of murder.

"He is not a murderer," defense attorney Deke Falls said.

Their comments came during closing arguments in the high-profile case. Stasko has been charged with three counts of second-degree murder in connection with the wreck that killed 45-year-old Winthrop University professor Cynthia Furr and her daughter, McAllister. A passenger in Stasko's car, 13-year-old Hunter Holt, also died.

The jurors deliberated about 3 1/2 hours Monday without reaching a verdict. The jury of seven men and five women will resume deliberations today.
