Jeep Command-Trac transfer case?

i read the wikipedia article on this transfer case, though this only thoroughly confused me, if you have any experience with this transfer case that would help, i THINK it says that when its in 4H then it is locked though i am not sure. i hope this makes

yes when it is in 4 high it is locked in,also 4 low is locked in when that is selected,2 high as you know is just 2 wheel drive.word of advice don't use 4 wheel drive on dry pavement,its hard on the transfer case,good luck with it.
