How does it work? I work for Flight Trails Helicopters, wanting to join the Army as a Warrant Officer after my Bachelors at MCC for aeronautical Science. Ok, now that you know my life.... How does it work? Has fan blades at the end of the main rotor shaft?
The gas turbine is actually a "turboshaft" engine that provides mechanical power via an output shaft rather than thrust via a fan like on a jet plane.
