Can Yamaha 4 Stroke engine oil work with other 4 stroke outboards?

I have a 2001 Honda 50hp outboard, and I was wondering if Yamaha's 4 stroke outboard oil would work in my Honda?

Sure we use Rotella T diesel 15w40 oil that's what Suzuki recommended.
