how much to rebuild a 93 honda prelude engine?

Thinking of buying this 93 honda prelude sr with 144 000 kilometers that needs a rebuilt engine because the owner neglected to change the timing belt on time. Why would the broken timing belt cause this much damage? If i was to buy it, what would need

Don't waste your time with another engine!!! This is actually a low mileage engine. Not changing the timing belt on a Honda spells disaster, but it's not THAT horrible. You will need a new timing belt, water pump, Timing belt pulleys, head gasket set.
