i need help picking a light truck, the ford ranger and the chevy colorado are my choices as i like to buy usa?

this will be used mostly in the city and will be used for moving auto parts also i am not interested in the 4 cylinder engines. i realize the Tacoma is a better choice but i like to buy American.can any owners of either give me some input, thanks

avoid the Chevy Colorado/Canyon.

it's 5 cylinder engine is underpowered and a gas guzzler.

the outdated Ford Ranger isn't much better.

you'd be better off buying a used Toyota Tundra with a V6 or a Chevy Silverado.
