What is the price of a car paint job (UK) ?

I'm from England in Devon, and was wondering how much it would cost for my Fiat Punto original color gold.

How much would it cost to get it sprayed to black from its original colour gold? Is it worth attempting a d.i.y ?

Changing the colour of a car involves a lot of work besides doing the painting.

For instance,Doors, have to be stripped, headlights, sidelights, bumpers, rad grill, etc....etc....etc.....all have to be removed before the prep of the body
